What is private pay home care rate and hours?
Private pay rates apply to home care services such as in-home care, private duty nursing, or hospice home health aides. These services are provided by a home health agency based on a service agreement negotiated with the patient or their guardian.Do you offer services on weekends and holidays?
Yes, our services are generally available throughout the week, including weekends and holidays.Do you have anyone who can talk to the family, free of charge, to explain the services before we start?
We offer free consultations with our bilingual staff, social workers, and placement coordinators. They can explain and coordinate services before they begin, and assist with Missouri Medicaid program applications if necessary.Do you have a minimum amount of hours that must be met daily?
We do not enforce a minimum daily hour requirement for our services in the state of Missouri.Do you have set private pay rates?
Yes, we have established hourly private pay rates. Billing is typically done in quarter-hour increments, depending on the level of care required.Do you have an on-call phone on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week for emergencies?
Our on-call phone service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to address any emergencies.
Am I allowed to request a replacement aide?
If you are dissatisfied with your assigned aide, you may request a replacement to ensure you receive proper assistance.Am I allowed to re-configure/cancel services that i have no service use?
You have the option to cancel services for your aide. However, changes to participant information and aide care registration must align with our policies.Under what circumstances would my health information be used or disclosed?
Your health information may be disclosed in various situations, including for treatment, healthcare operations, payment processing, research, public health purposes, law enforcement, medical examinations, and abuse investigations, among others.Can a participant have a family member or friend ride along?
Due to patient protection and liability standards, we do not allow family members or friends to ride along. This policy is not regulated by the Department of Medicaid and Home Services.
